This is an old revision of the document!
Territory
With the larger land masses claiming territory will be based on a 10 kilometer radius around your fort/mainbase. You are not to build forts/mainbase within 10 km range of another faction fort/main base, this is to reduce lag and base to base warfare. You are free to shoot anybody within the 10 kilometre radius of your fort/mainbase.
War
If you want to engage another faction/solo player you are to declare war on them first, this is done by declaring war on said faction/player in the diplomacy channel. Once this is done and an admin has given it green light the war will start 24 hours after the timestamp of the admin’s approval message. (The reason behind admin approvals is to make sure the other faction is able to fight, i.e. actually active and playing)
When a war has been approved, recruitment is blocked for every faction involved until the war has finished. In order for a faction to gain support they can request aid from other factions, Factions that declare aid can join the fight without an additional timer until 12 hours before the start of the war, After this period any new factions joining the war will have to wait the 24 hour timer. Factions can only aid the aggressor in the war if the opposing side has enough people to support this or the skill gap is just to great. This is to keep things somewhat balanced. To end the war one side surrenders and agrees to the terms set by the victor.
Pirate Factions
If you want to be a pirate faction you announce this in the diplomacy channel, you will be able to shoot everybody after 24 hours of approval however this also means everybody can shoot you. Same rules apply in terms of structures. To return to neutral status you would have to convince the entire server not to shoot you though, or be completely wiped out.
