Ground Wars Rules

Groundwar is an event based Gamemode, centred around ground based combat on a prebuilt map. Vehicles are player built after the ruleset you'll find below. Two Teams will battle it out against each other around a Koth zone. The Team that has either eliminated all opposing vehicles, or has captured the Zone has won!

Below 10 players, no AA and no Helicopters will be present. Above that, the Teams decide if both classes should be allowed for the round.

  • AA Vehicles cannot engage ground vehicles
  • No ERA armor inside the tank
  • Composite or ERA armor can not be used for helicopters
  • No radars outside of AA vehicles
  • Carrying Ammo is now exclusive to Vehicle Inventories
  • CTC Allowed, but without AI
  • Weight limits now include Ammo, Fuel etc (Wet weights)
  • Build realistic, if not believable vehicles

Uses Light Tank Grid core

  • This class can use 1 missile launcher + 1 autocannon as its weapons
  • Max weight 70T
  • Max Speed of 80 km/h
  • May only use 1 V/A28-M Electronic Countermeasure System as counter measures
  • May only use 4 smoke launchers of any type

Uses Helicopter Grid core

  • Helicopters can only use Helicopter Rotor blades
  • + 20T Support Thrust combined
  • 1 gyro
  • NO aditional thrust (forward/backwards/left/right)
  • May use 2 1×1 flare pod as its countermeasures
  • An exception can be made to use 1 Consty plane prop for the Helicopter tail (cosmetic purpose)
  • 5 hardpoints are alocated for its weapons, 1 hardpoint for an autocannon and another 4 for its secondarys (missiles)
  • The autocannon may be linked with a CTC block
