 ===== How to get resources ===== ===== How to get resources =====

-To avoid performance degradation due to voxel damage we moved to a more static method of ore gathering+There is multiple ways you can get resources, we will start with the mining part first
 +{{ :guides:wikibanner_-_commonores.png?nolink |=== Common ores ===}}

-We have 3 different Base Cores that provide your base with basic ores and also define the base type its on.  +----
-You can only have 1 core per base.+

-The more rare materials such as platinum and uranium are only available in the resource zones.+Common ores can be mined with Resource claim Pylons, these are static structures that will just mine ores available in the area they are placed in. They do not deplete the area however they are limited to only be able to mine common ores.

-=== Main Base Core ===+Common ores are:

-This you get to build one off and will give you the most resources, its also a massive storage container if you need the extra space.+  * Iron
 +  * Silicon
 +  * Nickel

-This will also define the base that its on as your main base.+Resource Claim Pylons come in 3 sizes:

-=== Fort Core ===+**Light**
 +  * Interference Radius: 2km
 +  * Suppression Radius: 5km
 +  * Mining Radius: 300m
 +  * 10L per 100 ticks

-Similar to the main base core however a little bit smaller and slightly reduced ore output, this will define the base that its on as a Fort.+**Medium**
 +  * Interference Radius: 7km
 +  * Suppression Radius: 10km
 +  * Mining Radius: 600m
 +  * 30L per 100 ticks

-=== Outpost Core ===+**Heavy**
 +  * Interference Radius: 10km
 +  * Suppression Radius: 15km
 +  * Mining Radius: 1000m
 +  * 90L per 100 ticks

-This will be used for your forward bases near combat zone or a zone of interest. These will provide you with components to perform maintenance on your vehiclesIts 1x1x1so its small and compact.+Their yields can be improved with Yield Upgrade modules.
 +Putting multiple ones within their interference radius will reduce their efficiency, a hostile one will cause a drop in efficiency within its suppression radius.
 +
 +{{:guides:advancedoredetector.png?nolink&200 |}}To find common ores you can use the advanced ore detector, These require a bit more power as the advanced oredetectors however can scan up to 15km.
 +
 +The normal Ore Detectors can scan up to 1500 meters.
 +
 +
 +{{ :guides:wikibanner_-_uncommonores.png?nolink |=== Uncommon Ores === }}
 +
 +----
 +
 +
 +Uncommon ores will require a bit more effort, these only spawn in Resource Zones. These spawn in the water and require you to setup a mining rig away from the safety of your territory. Only one can we placed in Zone and require Fuel Blocks to run. The zones will run out regardless of it being mined or not, once depleted it will despawn and new one will spawn. These areas will require you to defend your mining outpost as other factions will try to claim the resources for themselves.
 +
 +
 +Uncommon ores:
 +  * Cobalt
 +  * Magnesium
 +  * Silver
 +  * Gold
 +
 +{{ :guides:wikibanner_-_rareores.png?nolink |=== Rare Ores ===}}
 +
 +----
 +
 +Rare ores are can be found in random npc bunkersor King of the hill style events.
 +
 +Rare ores:
 +  * Platinum
 +  * Uranium
 +
 +==== Trade ====
 +
 +
 +Other ways to get resources is via Trade, either with another faction or at one of the Tradezones. These can be purchased with credits. You will be able to gain extra credits by running contract missions for the npc factions or credits can be found in npc bunkers

-**Any form of exploiting subgrids to get multiple cores working in one base will result in the entire base getting deleted, if it happens again the entire faction will be banned.**
