In Dygamic there are a few different faction types that you can choose from. These range from nations to pirates, and they will decide certain things like what your faction can do, how big you can build up your fleet, and how many bases you can build.
During the faction creation process, you need to specify which faction type your faction will be.
It is illegal to make new factions just to circumvent the structure and ship count limits, if you are found doing this the new faction will be deleted and a 1 week ban will be given to both the new faction and the original faction.
Every faction type needs at least 2 members to be formed, solo play is not allowed.
In order to switch faction type you must fulfill the following requirements:
When you've met these requirements, post a notice in the diplomacy channel announcing your switch. When this is done, you will switch faction types after 24 hours of the announcement being posted.
These rules are true for every faction type, unless a specific exception is made.
Nations are the standard faction type for everyone. They can build the largest fleets and the most bases, but they are limited in the wars they can start.
Nations are the most limited out of all the factions, and thus have the largest set of rules they have to abide by.
