====== Engagement Rules ====== Fighting other players is one of the most fun things that this server offers, in addition to trading, fishing, roleplay, and building. To keep it fun for all parties involved though, there are certain rules that must be followed, which differ between neutral factions, and factions at war. ---- ==== Normal Engagement Rules ==== When not at war with the target's faction, you must follow the following engagement rules: * Offline raiding is prohibited. This includes attacking unmanned grids. * It is your responsibility to ensure a grid is manned. * An exception is made for combat logging. * Structures are safe havens. You cannot engage a target if it is within 10km of a safe haven. * It is your responsibility to ensure a target is not in a safe haven. * If a target runs to a safe haven, it is your responsibility to disengage. * If a target informs you they're in a safe haven, it is your responsibility to disengage. * You can ask for safe haven in structures that are not your own, someone from the faction that owns that structure has to grant permission. * If a target is docked at a safe haven that is not their own, it is assumed they have been granted permission. ---- ==== War Engagement Rules ==== When at war with the target's faction, you must follow the following engagement rules: * Offline raiding is prohibited.
